With advances in growth & extraction technologies and concerns over sustainability of our oceans' fish stocks, we are interested in the promise of sustainable algae derived nutrition as a scalable and renewable source of high value food & nutrition ingredients.
We partnered with one of the world's leading omega-3 scientists to develop a sustainable algae nutrition ingredient platform based on proprietary strains that were patented by a leading university. We created a screen to identify promising strains, led patent strategy, created an R&D plan to validate commercial viability & explored strategic partnerships for commercialization, sales & distribution for the algae nutrition venture.
